About us
AKPIL – Over 50 years of experience in agricultural machinery manufacturing
Since 1975, we have been creating machines that support farmers in Poland and worldwide. We specialize in designing and manufacturing agricultural and municipal machines, utilizing modern technologies, proprietary design solutions, and experience gained over generations.
We were the first in Poland to start production of discs for harrows – to this day they are valued by customers across Europe for their precision, reliability, and specially designed cutouts. Every AKPIL machine undergoes a multi-stage quality control process – from design, through durability tests, to field trials.
Our machines reach over 60 countries – from Europe, through Asia and Africa, to North America. Quality relative to price, durability, and functionality are key strengths of our brand.
Technology Supported by Experience
Our own modern designs are created in our design office using advanced 3D CAD technologies and computational systems for strength simulation.
Our prototypes are thoroughly tested under varying conditions – on different soil types, with machines of different classes. We also collaborate with the Industrial Institute of Agricultural Machines in Poznań, continuously developing our offerings and implementing innovations aligned with market expectations.

Our history
Since its establishment in 1975, AKPIL has traveled a long way – from a small craft workshop to one of the leading agricultural machine manufacturers in Poland and Europe. Opening of our next strategic foreign dealer, this time in Germany, named: “AKPIL Deutschland GmbH” headquartered in Neumarkt.

Start of construction of a new production hall in Pilzno with an area of 10,700 m².

A special date for the company as we celebrated the 40th anniversary of AKPIL.

Opening of our strategic dealer in France under the name “AKPIL – FRANCE.”
Machines that quickly captured the markets of our western neighbors are assembled on the plant premises totaling 6,500 m². The total investment cost was about 5 million euros.

Investment in welding robots, machining centers, hardening facilities, an automatic painting shop with chemical degreasing, a paint booth, a shot blasting cabin, plasma cutting, and production of gears with curved teeth.
1992

Purchase of facilities from the Agricultural Circles Cooperative along with a 40-person crew. The production of agricultural machinery was significantly expanded, and the plant employed up to 340 people working under the roofs of renovated and newly built halls with an area of about 20,000 m².
1991

A design office was established, which worked on a potato harvester. It was implemented into production and was the first potato harvester produced by a private company in Poland. In 1997, this machine received the Minister of Agriculture Award during the Nationwide Jasna Góra Harvest Festival.

Work on new projects – the first of which was a horse-drawn planter.

The first product was created – a potato planter.
Simultaneously, production of harvesting tools for horse-drawn and tractor mowers as well as hillers and earthing-up machines was conducted.

In the conditions of a deepening crisis in construction, the company decided to take a new direction of development – agriculture.

Company founded by Kazimierz Anioł, which initially for several years was engaged in artisanal production of building products.
